Our family really had an amazing time at Creekside! You have a great house, the property is pretty spectacular, and it is just a great set-up for kids. We had our 3 year old in the harness on the big zip line and if it was up to him he would have done it hundreds of times a day. They threw rocks in the river for hours, we played soccer, they learned how to identify poison oak (not the hard way!), and went on the trampoline about 5x a day. We also did your Star Wars puzzle (if you are wondering why it's been opened), but disassembled for future completion and mounting in the puzzle room. We also loved leaving them alone in the kids room, until last weekend when they took advantage of their newfound autonomy and tried to cut their own hair. It didn't go well, so now they both have buzzes.

We loved our stay in Francesca and Dan's wonderful family home in Monte Rio. We spent a month at their home, and we ended up barely going out to all the amazing sights of and activities in the area because there was so much to do on their property! Their property is a kids' wonderland: acres of activities like trampoline, ziplines, a creek, swings, hammocks, slack lines, balance beams, outdoor tables, and more. In the house, the kids' bunk room is fantastic for kids, and the adults' bedroom has spectacular windows looking out to the forest. And the hot tub-- such a peaceful way to end the day when the kids are in bed.
I really could go on and on. The location is great -- near plenty of restaurant options in Monte Rio, Occidental, and Guerneville. Lots of hiking and river-sports activities nearby. But when you're at the house, you feel wonderfully secluded.
Communication was perfect. Francesca and Dan were always responsive and helpful.
